Adobe Acrobat Reader DC App printing issue on MacOS

Adobe Team / Forum,

I am using Apple MackBook Pro with macOS Catalina version 10.15.6 (19G2021).

I have updated my home HP printer drivers and tried the solution as "print as image".

I tried even with other printers too. I receive the same below error message. So frustrating!

When I try through my Adobe online account Acrobat Reader, it works absolutely fine. I am able to print. But unable to print through App in my MacBook.

I still receive Error : The document could not be printed. There were no pages selected to print.

My Current Adobe Acrobat Reader DC :

Continuous Release

Architecture: x86_64

Build: 20.12.20041.394260

AGM: 4.30.103

CoolType: 5.14.5

JP2K: 1.2.2.46820

I request for a solution.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Puneeth

Hi Puneeth

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to print the document and getting the error 'The document could not be printed. There were no pages selected to print.'

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also we can see that you are using the old version 20.12.20041. Please update the Acrobat Reader to the latest version 20.12.20043 and see if that makes any difference. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

You may also look at the steps provided in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-pdf-printing-acrobat-reader.html and see if that works for you.

Amal
