Question

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC becoming unresponsive on Windows 10

I've been using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on the same computer with Windows 10 for at least a year now, and haven't had any problems with it. Today, however, it's started freezing. The program becomes completely unresponsive and I can't get it to shut down at all. I also can't get it to minimize into the toolbar, so it sits in the background and waits. It's been frozen like this for the third time today for about 15 minutes now. Please help!

Hi,

We have released an update today that fixes this issue. This update will be automatically applied to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader DC. You can also open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit Help > Check for updates to make sure you are on the latest patch.

Details about the release: Acrobat Help | Release notes | Acrobat DC, Acrobat Reader DC | Update

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

-ashu

I have the same issue.  I've typed the same info into the same doc 4 times now and it only saved part and now SAVE is highlighted, but nothing happens. I went to check for updates and there are none.  I changed settings form a previous note under SECURITY, rebooted and still stuck.  Can't close it, save it unless I do it through TASK MANAGER then it's back to the orig document.

This is an unprotected document.  VERY frustrating - what am I paying for if it doesn't allow the edits??? It's been working fine until today (of course!)
