Adobe Acrobat Reader DC inop does nothing nada doesn't even load

Question

When I click on either a .PDF or the actual app absoutely nothing happens. I can't even open the app to "repair" or "update".

This happened a few days ago so I un installed and reinstalled. Seemed to work for awhile then this morning nothing. Reader does not load. Using Windows 10.

I'll try re-installing again.

Hi Filftwalton,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the application doesn't load.

Please try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights and try using the application there and check.

Also please try the following steps

Remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool - https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Reboot the computer
Reinstall the application using the link - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/acrobat-downloads.html

Also please check for any compulsory and optional updates for windows and try updating them and see if that works.
