Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Measurements Disappear When Re Open

Question

I completed many measurements in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Mac and saved the file many times. Went to re-open and the measurement ticks on the either end of my measurement were there but no measurement number displayed and the measurement looks incomplete - someone please help! Can I get the measurements back?

Hi Erinnev,

As shared above, "no measurement number displayed and the measurement looks incomplete", I believe you are experiencing this issue with only one of the PDF having measurements in it?

Meanwhile, you may try the following steps-

1. Reboot Adobe Reader as well as system.

2. Check if you have got the most recent update installed or not. Open Reader>Help>Check for update.

3. For testing purpose, Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader.

Note: Changing the above security settings could pose security risks. We suggest you to turn it back On once you are done with testing.
