Adobe Acrobat Reader DC won't save text typed into fillable PDF forms

Hello,

I'm filling out an IRS pdf fillable form.  I tried to save it, but a message displays:

"Data typed into this form will not be saved.  Adobe Acrobat Reader DC can only save a blank of this form.  Print form."

So older versions of Acrobat Reader use to save what you entered into a fillable pdf form so that you could come back to it to finish it and not start over.

Are there any other versions of Acrobat Reader for Mac out there that still have this feature?

Thank you!

    Hi Kimb75426207,

Adobe Reader DC does have the ability to save the data entered in fallible form as it older version used to have.

I assume you are experiencing this problem with a specific pdf document.

Could you please check the exact version of Adobe Reader DC that you have installed?

    Click on Help(upper left)>About Reader DC> Version__

Help>Check for updates (if any update available)

For more information you can refer to Filling in PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat or Reader

*If it doesn't help then please send the document to us, we would like to reproduce the same at our end(for testing purpose).

I have sent a private message to you.

    Regards,

    Akanchha
