Adobe Acrobat Reader freezes when I highlight

Hi! First of all, I apologize for my bad english, I'm not a native english speaker.

I'm a university student, so I have to use PDF a lot. Recently i've been having a problem with Acrobat when I try to highlight something; the program just freezes and I can't do anything with it, not even close it (I can only close it using the task manager). I use windows 10, i've already uninstalled and installed again, already used the repair instalation, and I already have the last vertion of Acrobat. What can I do? My version of acrobat is 18.011.20058
