Adobe Acrobat Reader - Install or Uninstall

I can neither update or uninstall my Acrobat reader on Windows 10.  On trying to Uninstall I get " No valid sequence could be found for the set of patches.  On trying to update I get 'Error 1648'

    What version of Reader do you have? Can you open and use it?
