Adobe Acrobat Reader will not open on MacBook Air.

I have tried all of the trouble shooting tips on "can't open a PDF" and none of them worked. This includes, reinstalling, setting Adobe as a default, and updating. I was unable to find the repair option. Nothing is opening, and it was just working fine about a week ago.

    Nothing is opening, ok. Do you still see the words Acrobat Reader on the menu bar when it tries to start? If so try Window > Tile > Horizontal.
