Question

Adobe Acrobat X Pro doesn't show images on a monitor. But they are printed

I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro in my office.

I put an image as a background and added two small objects(red small lines).

I could see them when I draw them.

But after I saved a file(.pdf), they disappeared!

Ironically, I can see them when they are printed out. What should I do?

Hey there!

Looking at the description given above, what I understood is pdfs with background aren't displaying correctly.

However, its working fine file adding it or while printing them. To correct the display setting, there are couple of things you need to check-

1- You may first reboot your system and then try opening the pdfs

2- Is it a problem with specific pdfs that has background or with all the files? Check with a different file.

3- Navigate to Edit>Preferences>Security(Enhanced)>disable "Protected View"

Note: Acrobat X is a very old version of Acrobat series. If you are working on latest OS, then there's high possibility that the app might cause some conflict. https://blogs.adobe.com/documentcloud/adobe-acrobat-x-and-adobe-reader-x-end-of-support/
