Hi Kingalex,

Thanks for reaching out. As described above you are experiencing issues while opening the PDF file on your computer and getting the error message "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open file because it is either not supported or corrupt", correct?

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with any PDF file you try to open on this computer? if its with a specific file, please try to download the file again to your computer, restart the computer and check.

Are you trying to open the PDF file on a browser?

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed on your computer? To check the version of the application, please go to Help > Click, About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Check for any missing updates go to Help > Check for updates

Try to repair installation (For Windows Only) Go to Help > Repair Installation.

You may also try the suggestions provided in the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/cant-open-pdf.html

Let us know if that works for you

Regards,

Amal

Hi Amal, I’’m currently using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. I am currently unable to view powerpoint slides as a PDF to be more specific. I can still open PDFs I just found out. I use to be able to view my school power point slides as a PDF before I reformatted my computer. I’m able to view them on my laptop no problem. I have Windows 10 Home edition. I’ve tried Mozilla Fire fox, microsoft edge and google chrome. I have tried deleting and reinstalling as well as the repair thing on adobe. I’ve also looked into all the resources you’ve provided and have not been able to find a solution yet.
