Adobe Converter from Outlook - conversion error from micrograms to milligrams

To help narrow this down, could you confirm:

• What version of Acrobat (not just Reader) is installed alongside Outlook? Converting emails to PDF from the Outlook ribbon needs the full Acrobat PDFMaker add-in; Reader alone can't do that conversion.

• Is the µg character typed as the micro sign or the Greek letter mu? They look identical but are different characters, and Acrobat has known quirks in how it handles them differently during PDF creation.

• Does the same substitution happen if you convert that same text a different way, for example, printing the email to the Adobe PDF printer instead of using "Convert to Adobe PDF" in the ribbon?

• Does this happen with every email containing µg, or only this one?
