Adobe Export PDF file won't convert to a Word Doc

My Adobe Export from PDF file to convert to a Word doc quit working - my subscription is paid up. HELP... your Adobe tech support got on my computer yesterday for an hour and couldn't figure it out...?

We are sorry for the trouble and the delay in response. As described, the Adobe Export PDF file won't convert to a Word Doc

 

Do you get any error message or code when you try to export the PDF to Word? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same. 

 

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

 

What is the workflow/steps you are doing to export the PDF file?

 

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat DC
Make sure you have the latest version 20.006.20042 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates.

I’ve already gone thru all the processes you’ve mentioned with one of the Adobe tech supports who shared my computer.and she uninstalled and reinstalled the latest versions and still couldn’t get it to work! Told me to get on this Adobe Support Community for help... how sad.

 

I need someone who can  help me figure this out, please! I’m not a technical person. This product worked well on my computer up until a few months ago?

We are sorry to hear that. Please try to create a new test user profile in windows as described (https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-account) or enable the root account in Mac (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204012) and try using the application there and check.

 

You may also try to export the PDF online (https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/home/) and see if that works for you.
