Adobe Export PDF Locked, Duplicate

Could be sending this message again as I'm not sure the first one worked.

I'm an annual subscriber to Adobe Export PDF.  I have trouble with editing.  My boss has the same application and she can easily type in 8 characters in a field but I can only type in 4, why?
