Adobe freezing up

Hello

When I try to open a PDF with Adobe, the first few lines open then the application freezes. When I open task manager it says Not Responding. I have tried reloading the product but that didn't seem to help. Sometimes it will works but not very often. Can you help?

    Adobe is the name of a company. What exact Adobe application are you referring to, including version number?

    Also, what's your OS version? And does this happen with all files, or just some? Does it happen if you open the file directly from within the application, or only when double-clicking it?
