Question

Adobe installer claims more current version so can't install

Whenever I try to install the latest free Acrobat Reader, the installer halts saying there is a more current version on the computer.

I"m using a MacBook Pro with IOS Sierra 1.12.4. This is the first time the problem has occurred. I've re-installed the latest free Acrobat Reader several times in the past few months -- whenever the one installed gets corrupted.

Apple Support took me through a lot of steps to try to find and remove another version but couldn't find one.

Can you please help?

    Hi Pieterk14497844,

Could you please check for a file or folder created for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in your computer?

Let us know if it doesn't help.

    Regards,

    Akanchha
