Question

Adobe PDF password protected, but I didn't set up the password!!

I completed a form online last August and saved the form to my desktop (in PDF format) for my reference. I went to look at the form yesterday and it is somehow password protected? I did not create any password for this file and am now unable to access the infomration I require. How do I fix this? I have tried various online tools but these things do not work.

What happens when you open the file?

Hi Bernd,

When I click on the document, it asks me for a password to enable the document to open. This document is the only one on my desktop which is asking for a password as I have other PDF's and they open fine.

Looks like that you need the open password.
