Adobe reader and Microsoft Information Protection

I have an issue with Adobe reader. users encrypt/protect office files using Microsoft purview information protection (MIP) and once a protected file is converted to PDF (using office ‘save as’ option), the file gets converted to PDF, however it doesn’t display correctly (some text is missing). We found out that this happens with some fonts only. The issue is that if we convert the same office file to PDF when it is not protected, the generated PDF displays the text properly.
