Adobe Reader Cannot be Loaded

I subscribe to Creative Cloud although this does not appear to include Adobe Reader. When I try to load Reader independently, from Adobe's free download site, the installation fails because "a newer version is already installed". I cannot find any version of Reader installed on the Win 10 PC and cannot use the version said to be installed.

Any advice appreciated.
