Adobe Reader Crashed

Hi,

I just opened my laptop last, night, and clicked on the adobe reader (with 3 pdfs open on it) the moment I clicked on that, the software crashed and I had to reopen everything. Then it asked me a question that I pressed YES ( i don't remember what the question was exactly, but I remember that it was saying if I press NO, then I will lose all my changes). SO I pressed Yes and then 2 of the PDFs reopened but the 3rd one did not!!! I reopened the third one from the folder, and all my highlight, notes and changes were gone! everything was missed. I googled, watched videos but found nothing to recover it! I talked to your customer service and then they offered me to post my issue here for your help.

I have a macbook by the way.

All these changes that are gone (because my adobe reader crashed) worths months of time and work and energy! It is just very unfair and bothering that everything is gone while the autosave thing on the preferences is also on for every 5 minutes!!!!

What should I do to retain them?
