Adobe Reader DC 19.012.20034 Cannot open PDFs in IE 11

Every time any of my users attempt to open a pdf with this version, the PDF grey screens. I have to roll back to a previous version of Adobe Reader. Problem is Adobe Reader is updating itself back to the current version which is causing the issue.

I have seen many other issues with this version in the forums as well. Any timeframe for a stable release? Also is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

    Hi JoeFowler,

    Apologies for the delay in response and the trouble caused. I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

    If the problem still persists, as stated above, Adobe Reader 2019.12.20034  can not open PDF file in IE11, Correct?

    We have new update available v2019.12.20035 for windows only. Please update the application to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available please follow the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products​

    Same problem here. Windows 2008R2 RDS/Terminal enviroment with IE11 daytime patch level.

    Chrome/firefox in same enviroment works.
