Adobe Reader DC 2019.012.20035 Cant open two pdf's at the same time from a network share

I work in the IT Support team and we are experiencing an issue where since we have updated to Adobe Reader DC 2019.012.20035, users have reported that they can not open two pdf's at the same time that reside on a network share. They can open two pdf's at a time that are locally stored i.e. C:/Temp. Is this a known issue with the latest version of Adobe Reader DC?
