Adobe Reader DC - Characters Issue

Good Morning everyone,

i'm having an issue with some pdf files, that display random characters. I've seen other users with this problem in some past thread resolving with new updates after reporting the problem here.

I'm using Adobe Reader DC 2018.009.20044 on Windows 8.1 Pro x64.

I tried to reinstall, repair and downgrade the Adobe version, but nothing changes.

Any suggestion?

    Install the updates for Acrobat Reader.

    Thanks for the reply.

    As i wrote before, i already have the latest version (2018.009.20044), reached first by upgrading the current installation, then reinstalling directly the latest version.

    Nothing has changed in either case.

    This is a old version. The latest version is 18.011.20040
