Hello everybody,

we have had the problem for a while. On one of our corporate computers (most of them are identical hardware and software) the context menu "Combine files in ...".

We have tried re-registering the DLL and playing with the registry as it is suggested on the pages that we have found, but the problem persists. It is there for a while and than gone again. It even happens without a restart of the computer.

The worst thing is that in an infrastructure of 30 computers this only happens with one of the managers. So we need a quick solution.

Can you please suggest some solution?

Thanks in advance!

Dean

    Hi Dean,

As shared above, that it is Adobe Reader DC application from which "Combine Files" option is keep removing. Are you sure this the right application you are looking for or installed on others computers too?

Adobe Reader DC doesn't include "Combine PDF" tool, unless you don't subscribe for Adobe PDF Pack or Acrobat DC subscription.

Combine or merge files into a single PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC

If you are a subscriber of Adobe Acrobat, then Adobe Reader DC isn't the right application you are working with on the computer you are experiencing problem.

Or share the Adobe I.D (via private message) under which you have your product registered(if it was a purchased product)

Also, Help us with the exact version of the application you are experiencing problem with. Open application> Help> About Acrobat or Reader

We would be looking forward for the update on this.

    Thanks for confirming that.

Try to "Repair Installation" of Acrobat DC, Launch Acrobat>Help>Repair Installation.

Also, check if there is any other application or network setting that's resetting the preferences of the application.
