Adobe Reader DC crashes when emailing

When attempting to use the email> File> option in Adobe Reader DC it opens the new email in Outlook 2016 with the pdf attached but Adobe crashes. It shows this program has encountered an error and needs to close.

I have updated and repaired the Adobe and MS Office products. It is working from other applications. Can anyone help?

    Please refer to the form thread Attaching PDFs to email crashes Acrobat DC where similar issue has been addressed and correct answered has been given to resole the issue.

    The directory listed is present on the machine I'm working with. The Adobe Reader App still crashes when creating the email in Outlook.
