Since this morning, after the latest update, I had the following issues:

- the program freezes and suddenly crashes while the dialog box Edit/Preferences is open;

- the program does not print anymore (already posted).

The new update is creating troubles. I tried to repair the installation from /? menu. Nothing. The problems are still here.

Hi Matteo!

Thank you for reaching out and reporting the issue.

As you are experiencing crash issues, please try the troubleshooting steps as suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html

If that does not help, try uninstalling the application using the Adobe cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html#windows) and reboot the machine.

Then reinstall the application from this link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Let us know if the issue still occurs.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Matteo!,

Thanks for your report. Apart from the steps that Meenakshi mentioned, can you please also share the crash dumps of the Reader process. Please refer https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html#CollectinglogswhenAcrobatReaderDCcrashesinWindows for steps on collecting the crash dumps.

Hi Priyanka,

the uninstall + reinstall solved the problem. It does not occur anymore. By the way, a more friendly way to activate and deactivate the crash report/dump report from the program GUI will be very appreciated. I wonder why to dig and mess up manually with the Windows Registry.

Regards

Matteo
