Adobe Reader DC crashing on launch

Hi,

I use Adobe Reader DC every day and for the past couple of weeks or so it has been crashing whenever I either just try to start the application or open existing PDF files that used to work ok.  I find if I uninstall and then reinstall I can open a PDF once, but then any subsequent attempts just case the application to hang.

The behaviour has also been happening to a few of my colleauges so we are wondering if the September 2021 update is causing this.

Any help or guidance you could give on how to troubleshoot this would be really useful as it is driving us crazy!
