Adobe Reader DC, Ctrl - F Search Bar, Despawns on its own after search
Hopefully this is a minor issue and just a setting I can adjust.
I use a handful of PDF's that I have to search through constantly to look up internal accounting codes. I'll keep the document up on one of my screens, hit CTRL - F the first time of the day, do my search then leave the PDF there until I have to do another search. Drop in the next term to the already open search window and I'm good to go.
The new problem I'm running into is that when my search is 'done' aka I get to the last entry or there is no such word\number Adobe Reader is now shutting down the search bar so I have to hit CTRL - F again. I know it sounds like a minor gripe but when I'm processing bills and searching up items in volume it gets frustrating.
Is this something I can toggle? Or is this one of those random things that no one has ever experienced and I'm stuck with it until I re-install my OS, get a new computer or go with a 3rd party option?
