Adobe Reader DC - Forced Sign-in

Using Mac // Safari (14.1.1)

Every time I open a .pdf file, the Adobe sign-in dialog box pops up and "forces" me to sign in.  I can't even close out of the sign-in box without signing in.

I would like to be able to open a local .pdf file without having to sign-in.

Thanks for the reply.  I deleted Adobe reader DC and re-installed, and it seems to work now.

I had this issue before and after reinstalling the free version it worked. I am again having the same issue. I deleted the free version and reinstalled an updated version (twice). Still having the same issue. My home computer is a shared computer, so when another family member needs to view a document, if I am not at home, they can not view a simple document. Can I stay signed in at home as well as my office and allow others to use my work adobe account?

Frustrated!

Amal.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, everytime you open a PDF file it forces you to sign in to the application.

Please try the steps/suggestions made in the help page - https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/acrobat-keeps-asking-to-sign-in/m-p/11525698 and see if that works for you.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Regards

Amal
