Currently we are running an citrix environment that use Adobe Reader DC. The problem we face deals with large documents gets an "run out of memory" error during the user scrolling through the page. Can anyone assist me with the issue?

    Hi,

We use Adobe Acrobat at work, and our case handlers experience the error message "run out of memory" often. They also experience that the page gets white and that they have to close and open the PDF agian to be able to keep working. I have tried the two steps that have been mentioned above.

Is there anything else I can try?

I am also experiencing this with Pro DC, vsn 2017.009.20044 editing a 1.4gb file.  Machine it is running on is Windows 10 with 64 GB of memory.  I was duplicating a set of buttons across all pages (1070 pages) when it ran out of memory.  DC had consumed about 3-4 gig of memory at the time.

    Hi urkelm94937998,

Could you please try the steps given below?

1- Check for updates, launch Reader>click Help>select Check for Updates

2- If step 1 doesn't work, try clearing temp files, open pdf file and see if the error still appears.

Please confirm the version of Reader DC installed on the machine.

Launch Reader>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC under Help menu

Have you tried opening other pdf files, does this error message appears with other files as well?

I have the same problem.  I have a one day old brand new dell inspiron laptop.  I have only installed Adobe Reader and no other programs.  I have one file on the computer that I uploaded from a flash memory card.  I opened the large pdf and after scrolling through 3 pages, I got the "out of memory" error.

    FIle size 248mb

Downloaded Adobe reader one hour ago and one update.

    Still got error message.

    Please help.

Laptop came with current Microsoft office installed.

    Hi stevej50400814,

Would it be possible if you can share the pdf file with us?

I have sent you a private message, please check the inbox for the same.

Please confirm the Reader's version by launching Reader>click Help>About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

    Thank You,

    Shivam
