Adobe Reader DC takes a long time printing through command.

Hey

I have a trouble with Adobe Reader DC taking longer and longer time printing a pdf through a batch printing job.

In the beginning it takes 6 seconds for it to print, which is an acceptable amount of time. But after only one week the amount of time is twice as high (12 seconds), which is no longer acceptable.

The first time I just reinstalled the Reader, which did the trick. At that time I though I problem was due to an update being installed and slowed it down, that wasn't the case. I have also unchecked almost everything i Adobe Reader that has something to do with the outside world (internet) and really nothing does the trick.

So does anyone have a good idea on what might help holding the Adobe Reader DC printing time to a minimum, so that it wont increase the time.

Hi Tj99695924,

Please confirm if it happens when printing with other applications too and with all the files or any particluar.

Also, for testing purpose try disabling the protected mode and then print and see what happens but after tesing you can turn on the protected mode.

And if the file is on any external location, try to make the file local to the machine.

Thanks,

Supriya

Hi

Well, if I manually print one of the PDFs from Adobe it varies in time, but is still faster.

Protected mode is disabled.

The thing about other applications is that I tried with Foxit, but quality of the printing didn't meet the requirements.

All files printed is stored locally.
