I recently installed Adobe Reader DC, but have the following issues

1.  Most people can't open attachments I send in the DC format.

2.  We don't want people to be able to edit the pdf file we send.

I have uninstalled DC.  How can I get adobe reader XI back?

How are you sending these attachments? What steps are you taking?

That has nothing to do with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. The only way to try and keep them from editing is to add security preventing it which can only be done with the full version of Acrobat and doesn't keep people using other pdf viewers from editing your file.

You can get it here but it won't help with either of those issues. Something else must be going on but without more info from you, it's hard to tell what that is. Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
