Adobe Reader Document Cloud unable to share multiple files

Hello.

Until recently we where able to select multiple files and share them via link on the desktop app for reader DC. The option is still available with ONE file selected shown here:

This is no longer the case if multiple files are selected we are greeted with very scarce options now.

Why was this option removed? Is there a workaround?

Hi Kyle, 

 

We are sorry for the trouble. As described above, you are not able to share multiple files at once.

 

The option to share multiple files is discontinued from all the sharing workflows in Desktop with the recent update:

 

  • If you select multiple files in Home > Files or Recent Files, the Share option is not available.
  • If you select a file and start the Share workflow, the Add Files option is not available in the Share dialog box.
  • If you start the Share workflow without selecting a file, the Add File option allows you to select only one file.

 

Note: All multi-file sharing initiated before this change will continue to work fine.

How do you recommend we proceed if we relied on this feature heavily for our workflow and file sharing?

 

Until this feature is returned I have cancelled my subscription and will be using Hubdoc but this is not ideal. Curious why this was removed.

I relied on this option heavily as well. I would use this feature multiple times a day. I would like to know if there is a way to send multiple PDFs in one email as well as laid out in the steps above. 

I sure hope Adobe brings this feature back.
