Hello,

We have recently started exingperiencing that open pdf reports which have text in "font-family: Arial,Liberation Sans,DejaVu Sans,sans-serif;" with Adobe Reader, then the text is not displayed.

If we open the same pdf-report with chrome, then the text is displayed correctly.

Opened from Acrobat Reader: http://prntscr.com/jaa9o3 http://prntscr.com/jaa8wa

Opened from Acrobat Reader: 2018.011.20038

Opened from Crome: OK.

Do you have any ideas how to resolve it?

    Hi Evarik,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Try to update the application to the latest version available and check if that resolves the issue.

Refer this help document Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader to check the latest updates available.

As the Adobe Reader does not display the text correctly, can you share the PDF file with us so we can check it on our end?

You can share the file using the steps mentioned here How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud.

Check if the fonts are embedded with the PDF. Open PDF and go to File > Properties > Fonts.

Also, let us know how exactly you have created the PDF?

We will be waiting for your response.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi

    Thank you!

After checking now again (~1 month later) the report and font is fine. Updates must have fixed it.

    Best regards,

    Evari
