Adobe Reader fails to Read Out Loud on my Mac

From what I have read, it seems like the correct voice has to be installed on the computer.

Which voices are installed on a Mac that will Read Out Loud?

If the answer is none, then how do I install a voice that will work with Adobe Reader Read Out Loud function.
