Question

Adobe Reader freezes on Mac

Lately Adobe Reader DC is giving me a hard time, making my user experience quite miserable.

First they started asking me to log in each time I wanted to open a PDF. Now that is gone but I cannot open any PDF at all, or I can open them but they freeze immediately and I cannot scroll. I tried to uninstall and install Adobe Reader again with the same result.

I am running a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012) with macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6. The Adobe Reader DC is version 20.006.20034.

Any ideas on how to solve this would be super appreciated!!

Make other user account.
Login new accounts and try use Acrobat Reader.

Thank you Assause. Unfortunately Adobe Reader freezes as soon as I open the program, so it doesn't allow me to login new accounts.

All you need to create is an OS user account.
Therefore, opening Acrobat Reader is not directly related to creating an account.
The essence of this is to check that it works with another account.
