Adobe Reader Installation Failure

Hi. I had to uninstall Adobe reader from my laptop coz it wouldn't open any pdf file and then I tried to re-install but it kept giving me this message although I couldn't find any adobe apps or files or whatsover on my laptop. I tried from a different browser, yet the same message appeared. Now I can't open any pdf file. Plz help me 😞
