Adobe reader keeps on going from my computer

I download Adobe Reader.

I open it and run it.

It loads ok.

But after say 12 Hours, when I look again at my computer it has disappeared and I have to download it again to open my PDF files.

    Neither of these prove it has gone. It might be going, of course, but before trying to find out why we need to be sure what really happens.

    Please install it then find it in the Start button. Now, next day when it seems to have gone, please look under the Start button for it.

    You say it has disappeared, but please tell us how you KNOW it has disappeared.

    Well for one thing, If it was still on my computer it would say when I open the said file to add to my computer, this is already on here.

    But the other thing is, all my PDF files change to PDF Reader for Windows

    And not Adobe.

    Let's check a couple of things:

    1. Is this a work computer, set up by your company?

    2. You say Reader has "gone". Where do you look for it, exactly? (There are many possibilities so please be detailed).

    It is my own home computer

    When I download Adobe Acrobat Reader, I open it and run it.

    All works fine for a while.

    Next morning, I check and it has dissapearedfrom my Computer.

    (I left the Computer on one night to see if this helped, But it went also)

    I then download it again from the internet and it loads but same thing happens again and again
