Hi all,

I'm having issue whereas Adobe Reader DC immediately not responding when i'm opens it. It show like after the opening, something running at background that make it start not responding.

Already try several method find in this communitiy likes; disable protected mode during startup, change compability to other OS version and multiple time of uninstall /re-install application from many version up to the latest version.

The application is not having an issue if  i'm running as Administrator but our company have policy with no admin right access. Is there any other solution to fix this issue?

Hi Wan M,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the trouble.

Could you please let us know if the issue started occurring recently? If yes, did you make any changes that may have affect this?

Please share the Acrobat Reader DC and OS version currently in use.

Try once to remove the application and then run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html). Reboot the machine and try installing Reader from this page: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

Check if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Meenakshi,

Thank you for your respond. Already try your suggestion method but issue still persist. The current OS is Windows 10 Ent and Adobe DC version is the latest download from the link you shared.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in response.

As the issue persists, please try to create a new user account on the machine.

Install Acrobat Reader DC there and check if you experience similar behavior.

Share the Acrobat Reader DC and OS version on the machine.

Also, confirm if the issue occurs only on the work machine.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
