Adobe reader, Outlook

Hello! 

When I download a pdf from google chrome and the .pdf file opens and I can't use the mail button. 

I get error massage that there is no deafult mail program. 

If I open the .pdf first on the computer then the mail button works. 

If I keep that .pdf document open and then download a new file from Chrome I can use the mail button.

Suggestions?
