Please assist

I am trying to print from Reader a large pdf file to an HP officejet 500 - double sided.  When I print 'short edge' it works, but 'long edge' the back page is unreadable?

I have tried all options, like altering the resizeing options and I have even reinstalled the latest version of AR

Anyone got any ideas?

    Hi Petert,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please try the troubleshooting steps provided here Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

    Check the printer properties once.

Try once to print PDF as an image Print PDF as image | Adobe Acrobat, Reader and check if you experience the similar behavior.

When you say "the page is unreadable", what exactly the issue is?

Is it nor printing the text properly, or it overwrites the text?

Would it be possible to share the screenshot?

To share the screenshot, use the steps provided below:

    - Click on the insert icon provided in the reply window as shown below:

    - An Insert Image window will appear.

    - Then click on Insert Image and browse the location where you have saved the screenshot file.

    - Select the file and click on Open > Insert Image.

Did you check if that occurs with other PDFs as well or just wit this one?

What is the current version of Acrobat Reader DC installed on your machine?

Let us know if you need any help.

    Regards,

    Meenakshi
