Adobe Reader Touch 3.1

I just bought a new Dell touch screen desktop and installed the Adobe Reader Touch app. Its version is 3.1 no updates available. When I click on a PDF to print from an email it just spins the printer rollers inside and nothing happens. Actually says no paper on printer. However if I actually download the PDF and use the HP printer app and select that file to print it prints just fine. It will not let print from the Adobe app. Please help. Thank you
