Adobe reader Updater failure

I've been getting the usual notice to update my Adobe Reader (to ver 11.0.19) but every time I've tried to update it over the last couple of weeks I get "An error occurred. Adobe Reader will try again later." It tells me the error code is 1578.

Any ideas what is going on, or do I just wait until this gets fixed at Adobe's end?

    Could you please try downloading update from the following link and see if that works?

    11.0.19 Planned update, January 10, 2017 — Acrobat and Adobe Reader Release Notes

    Select the installer for Reader on the downloads page.

    Let me know if you face any issue while updating Adobe Reader.
