Adobe Reader with a Mac

Does anyone have any experience with Macs?  I use Adobe Reader, which also used to come with Flash Player.  I  re-installed Adobe Reader yesterday because I couldn't print.  Now that I have a re-installed version of Adobe Reader, I can no longer play videos.  I can't download documents.  I cannot stream music.  And I keep getting the following error message "The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features your browser did not support."
