Adobe Reader XI

I'm using a link for Adobe Reader so I can get version XI. The system is insisting that I download lots of free apps for cleaning, etc. I don't want these but there is no way to skip those pages without signing up. Help please.

    We're sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. The latest version of Adobe Reader is 2018.011.20063, you can download the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    If you a paid security software, I will request you to do a complete scan of the machine to remove any probability of infection caused by the third party website.

    As per the description above, I can understand that you are on a third party website due to which you are getting other free apps to download.

    Adobe Reader 11 is old and out of support version as the security updates and patches are no longer available. The recommendation is to download and install the latest version only.

    If you wish to download the older version, you use the following URL ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/

    Thank you for your reply. I’ve tried to follow up on the forum page but can’t find a button to reply. I hope that this reaches you.

    I don’t know how I got to a third party site as I used the URL adobe.com <http://adobe.com/>. All started well but then the third party offers started and I absolutely couldn’t get by them.

    What is the latest version please? We used the older one because we wanted people with older computers to be able to download an application form. Is the newest version back compatible with older computers?

    How do I download the latest version please? (Thank you for the link to the prior versions.)
