I am running Windows 7, I had adobe reader XI installed on my computer it automatically updated to DC, I started having problems with my pdf files not opening or my system would crash, I uninstalled DC and reinstalled XI, still having the same problems with it freezing, not opening pages and then if it does open it won't print, I upgraded back to DC today thinking that my change this problem but it didn't just made it worse.  Sometimes I get a message that says not compatible with system configuration.  Need help this is very frustrating!

    Hi Troyn2316m,

For Adobe Reader DC, please try the repair installation and if it does not help, follow the link below and uninstall and reinstall the application using the cleaner tool:

Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Also, refer to the options mentioned in the link below and see if it helps:

Troubleshoot Windows system errors, freezes | Adobe software

Let me know if the issue still persists.

    Thanks,

    Supriya
