Adobe suddenly shuts down and uninstall directions do not work. What to do?

When I try to print a pdf file adobe suddenly shuts down and says it doesn't know why.  I tried the instructions to uninstall Adobe programs but it says they're in my trash and to move them.  I do that but they still don't appear except in the trash.  I'm stuck.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the delay in responding to your query.

    Please let us know if you still experiencing this issue? Have you tried enabling another user profile on the machine and test the behaviour? Is it closing while opening a particular PDF or it gives you the trouble while opening any PDF on your machine? If there is a different scenario for the crash of the app on your machine please do mention of it.
