Adobe Update bug?

My adobe reader does not show the file tools at the top of the screen. I use to be able to click on the icon at the top of the application but that icon no longer displays. A section is showing blank next to the pipe, which is next to the "show previous page and show next page icons. I clicked around in  that section and noticed that the icons are there I just can't see them. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

    Hello Andrewg,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader. Please reboot the machine once and assuming you are on Windows machine, Press F9 key and see if this brings the File menu on top.

Try resizing Adobe Reader from the top right corner and see if this brings the Menu bar.

If not, please open Control Panel, and select Program and Features. Then select Adobe Acrobat Reader from the list, right-click on it and select Change from the list and then select the radio button to repair the application.

After repair, reboot the machine and see if this brings any difference.

If the issue persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove the installed Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs Reboot the machine again and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.
