adobe viewer got gray after KB5077181 was deployed

base on investigation that was opened to Microsoft support i got the following reponse:

have identified, a problem in one of Adobe's 64-bit modules shipping with Adobe Acrobat (64-bit, 25.001.21184) that loads a different version of Window Common Controls as their 64-bit ActiveX control needs to properly render a PFD file.
We only tested with default configuration of Adobe Reader.

There is no such rendering problem when the control hosting process is 32-bit, as this loads the 32-bit version of Adobe's ActiveX control, which loads the desired version of the 32-bit Window Common Controls.
The issue only happens with 64-bit control hosting processes.

Basically, it would be important the Adobe investigated the 64 bit plugin and ensure that they properly call the correct Windows Common Controls.
We also engage our Adobe contacts internal to address this towards them directly.
