Adobe won't read text created in Bluebeam

When text is added to a pdf using Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat X Pro version 10.0 will not read the text, ie., the added text does not show up at all. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC does read the text, however. Most of our company computers all have Adobe Acrobat X Pro version 10.0. What do we need to do to resolve this issue?

I have to opposite issue. our company has, unwisely in my opinion, switched over completely to Bluebeam.  I work with many PDF documents, mostly in contracting and using the commenting and editing functions.  When they update our computers they stop adding Adobe and are now installing Bluebeam, which may be great for drawings, but not a good tool for contract review and commenting.  I had to request that they put Adobe back on my computer.  But the bigger issue is that all the edits and mark-up we provide to individuals in our company are not viewable to them now, because they are using Bluebeam.  Comments show up in Bluebeam's "Markup" bottom window, but there is no way to tell exactly what the "comments" made Adobe are attributed to.  Furthermore, when viewing documents originating in Adobe, much of the text disappears while viewing in Bluebeam.  I realize this is primarily a Bluebeam issue, but wanted to see if anyone out there has found a solution.

    Thanks, Regina.

    Hi Chjacobebros,

Sadly, there is not much that can be done about this.

Acrobat 10 is no longer supported so would suggest you to please continue with the Adobe Reader DC.

If we troubleshoot the issue and if the issue turns out to be a bug it wont get fixed.

    Thanks,

    Supriya
