Adode show not polish letters Łódź in Thunderbird is all o

the reader shows not all polnish letter for expample Łódź   in my reader they shows only  ód.

Installation is german.

But when i open this document in Thunderbird with intergrated PDF reader is all ok .
But in Thunderbird i cant select a  spezialy area (snapshot )  for printing
